1).The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) presented its 5 Bi-monthly Monetary
Policy review for 2014-15 fiscal on 2Dec2014.
-GDP growth rate projected at 5.5% for current fiscal
-Consumer Price Index (CPI)-based inflation projected to remain at 6%
by March 2015
-Repo rate (short term lending rate) unchanged at 8%
-Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) unchanged at 4%
-Statutory Liquidity Ratio (used for unlocking banking funds) retained at 22%

2).India test-fired nuclear-capable strategic missile Agni-IV from a
test range off Odisha coast.
-It has a range of about 4000 km
-This was the fourth trial of Agni- IV.

3).Veteran Hindi film and television actor Deven Verma (77) passed away

4).Boyhood ,a film which took 12 years in making, wins top honours at
the NewYork Film Critics awards.

5).NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO will launch a non- combat
mission in Afghanistan on the first of January in 2015
-The mission named " Resolute Support " aimed to train, advise and
assist Afghan security force

6).Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and a veteran Congressman, Abdul
Rahman Antulay (85), widely known as A.R.Antulay, passed away
